The Amari Emerald Cove Resort and Spa, Koh Chang is located on the secluded Klong Prao Beach with stretches of white sand. Apart from taking advantage of the soft white sand beaches, more adventurous guests can enjoy hiking in the rain forests, elephant trekking, fishing, sailing, snorkeling and diving. Day trips to the surrounding islands can easily be arranged and there are two multi- level waterfalls with refreshing pools to swim in.
The Amari Emerald Cove has four restaurants. The selection of restaurants and bars offer an electric mix of Thai seafood and Italian specialties. Refreshing drinks and light bites are served all day at the pool side, and there is also round-the-clock room service.
There are three function rooms at the Amari Emerald Cove, which can accommodate over 200 guests for meetings, conferences or banquets. To cater to the business travelers needs, business services are available onsite. After a long day of sightseeing or meetings, guests can treat themselves to a pampering massage just a few meters from the gently moving ocean.
All 165 superior, deluxe rooms and suites have beautiful solid wood furniture and reflect modern Thai design influences, with panoramic views of the cove or nearby mountains. Thoughtful room amenities include balconies, bathroom telephones, cable TVs, clock radios, desks, in room safes, minibars and refrigerators. Gala Dinner: The hotel will host a mandatory Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Gala Dinner on December 24, 2008 and December 31, 2008. All guests will be charged for the dinner whether or not they attend. The gala dinner compulsory charge for Christmas Eve is Baht3720 per adult and Baht1860 per child under 12. The gala dinner compulsory charge for New Year's Eve is Baht4345 per adult and Baht2173 per child under 12. This charge is not included in the room rate and is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.
