From Zurich Airport (ZRH):
Distance to Hotel Hofgarten is 100 kilometres, approximately 75-90 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The airport's Swiss Federal Railways Station is located beneath terminal B. S2 and S16 trains run every 10 minutes to Zurich city centre at peak times. The journey time is about 10 minutes and single tickets cost 5.80 CHF. Trains run to Lucerne. Taxis wait outside arrivals, and cost approximately 150 CHF (105 EUR) to the Hotel Hofgarten. There is a bus terminal next to car park B, with 11 bus lines running to towns and villages across the region. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
Zurich's public transport system includes trams, trains, and buses. Tickets must be bought prior to boarding. Day passes (Tageskarte) offer 24 hours of unlimited travel. Ferries run from the ferry terminal at Enge to the towns and villages surrounding Lake Zurich.
Driving directions.
Depart Zurich airport and take motorway exit for Luzern-Zentrum or Luzern- Nord.
Follow signs to the Verkerhshaus (Transportation Museum).
The hotel is opposite the Hofkirche (church).
