Location.
The Beta Sant Jaume is located in between the sea and the mountains in the province of Alicante, Spain. It is two kilometres from Benissa, seven kilometres from the beach, and 71 kilometres from Alicante.
Hotel Features.
Originally a traditional country house, the Beta Sant Jaume was rebuilt as a terracotta, Mediterranean-style hotel and bungalow complex which retains many original features, including wooden beams and stone walls. Situated in gardens, there is an outdoor pool, a terrace, a sauna, and a jetted tub. Other amenities include Internet connections, and complimentary parking.
The Beta Sant Jaume restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes, and a complimentary buffet breakfast daily. There is also an outdoor café.

Expert Tip. Benissa is a picturesque town set in the north of Alicante. Tall mountains, wide valleys, and verdant countryside all add to Benissa's unique appeal, but a sensitive restoration of the old town in the 1980s and 1990s by the local authorities gives it a real edge. There are splendid 17th and 18th- century townhouses, narrow streets, churches, and a town hall.

Driving Directions
From Alicante Airport (ALC):
Distance to Beta Sant Juame is 87 kilometres, approximately 43 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The C-6 Airport Bus runs half hourly between the airport's arrivals hall, the city centre and the train station. Trains run from Alicante to Teulada train station, which is two kilometres from the hotel. There are taxi ranks outside the arrivals hall, and the fare to the city centre is approximately 15-20 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Central Alicante can be covered on foot, and the city and surrounding areas are served by buses and trams. A car is recommended for exploring the area around the hotel and the rest of Alicante and Valencia.
