Getting there.
The Violet line (E) on Porto's Metro system runs from the airport to Porto city centre, and single tickets cost 1.35 EUR. The station at the airport is in front of arrivals. Buses depart for the city centre every 20-30 minutes. Intercity and local trains run from Porto to Aveiro. The Meliá Ria Hotel is one kilometre from Aveiro train station. Getting around. The city can be easily explored on foot. The area is serviced by both a bus network and train service.
