The Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees is a magnificent Belle Epoque building dating from 1861 and situated in Stresa on the shores of Lake Maggiore, opposite the Borromeo Islands. Driving Directions

The easiest way to reach the hotel is by taxi; the fare should cost approximately 130 EUR. Alternatively, guests can take a shuttle bus to Milan Central Station where trains to Stresa are available. From Milan Malpensa Airport go right at the first intersection and follow directions to Somma Lombardo, then follow indications to Lake Maggiore. Enter Highway A8 in Somma Lombardo and proceed on A26 direction Gravellona Toce. Continue for 25 kms on highway and exit Baveno. Stresa is seven kilometres away on the right following the lake.
