Description
La Pineta is a villa-style hotel set within the coastal resort of Forte Village in 25 hectares of lush tropical gardens, 45 kilometres south of Cagliari. This two-floor hotel features 102 guestrooms, all of which feature traditional Sardinian-style decor with wooden floors and wicker and antique-style furniture. Rooms open onto patios or balconies and modern amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections, safes, and minibars. At Piazza Maria Luigia, the resort's social centre, guests can wander the arcades full of designer boutiques from Gucci to Bulgari, or simply relax with cocktails, watching the world go by and listening to live music. There are twelve bars scattered throughout the resort including the wine bars of the Piazza, as well as poolside and beach bars where guests can sample Normandy oysters in the Oyster Bar. The numerous dining options include fine dining by the sea, snacks by the pool, and a range of different cuisines including Italian, Sardinian, and Lebanese. The Forte Village has its own golf driving range and the resort's water sports programme includes sailing, water-skiing, diving, jet-skiing, and banana boats. Cagliari Airport is 45 kilometres from the hotel.

Driving Directions
The best way to get from the airport to the resort is by taxi. Cagliari train station is 45 kilometres from the hotel. Driving directions: From the airport take the SS 195 in the direction of Pula for approximately 32 kilometres. After Pula, continue on the SS 195 for eight kilometres, and turn left off the road where the resort is signposted.
